Macro Tracking, also known as flexible eating, is a system to record your macronutrient intake to maximize your nutrition goals. Macronutrients are the body’s building blocks including carbohydrates, protein, and fat. By consuming specific ratios of these nutrients, your body can maximize metabolic capacity to hit your nutritional goals including fat loss, muscle gain, performance gains or day to day energy increases. Flexible eating is personal. Each person’s metabolism runs on a unique set of macros. These counts are determined by current intake, nutritional goals, age, and gender.
